Specialties in Ha Long
1. Ha Long squid pies
Grilled squid was no stranger to tourists from near and far when coming to Ha Long. What makes this dish so special is the kind of squid Mai. According to the locals "proud" to share, only the type of squid Mai in Ha Long is sweet and chewy, "unmatched" like that. Have to taste a piece of squid by yourself and feel the toughness, crunchiness on the outside and soft on the inside to understand why this dish became so famous.
You can refer to the following famous restaurant rolls:
Sticky Rice Rolls with Minh Hoa
Ms. Hue's spring rolls rolls
2. Loong Toong seafood noodle soup
Loong Toong Market is a market of local people, so the shops here are all full of the original flavor of the sea. Nestled in a corner of the market, the seafood noodle stall is really eye-catching with large plates and a full of food. The shop seems to be quite famous because just asking people around the market can get directions on-site.
The water used here is really rich in sea flavor, many kinds of seafood are marinated, including the surface, snails, shrimp, guise leaves, tofu.
3. Ba Co ngan shop
Arriving at the restaurant on an empty day, we "risked" to enter, because most of the tourists like us would feel safer for the pocket money when entering the crowded restaurant. But after a few enthusiastic greetings of the owner really made me somewhat "brave" in ordering.
Ngan at the restaurant is a highlight, the meat is firm and not fat, the meticulously made piece is clean and smooth. It was raining and called "combo ngan and congee" and a few bottles of beer to sip, nothing is equal.
4. Special snail shop 290
Located in the campus of Ha Long cultural palace, 290 snail shop has a variety of seafood items. Especially all are still fresh, only when guests call, the staff began picking out and prepare.
You will probably find it a bit confusing to go to the chosen area, because there are probably types this is the first time you hear the name. Which is hard, flute and then to jackfruit. These are all special specialties of Ha Long. All those strange names are definitely in our sights. One by one they were brought out with their "O's" in turn. All are "monumental".
Jackfruit, a typical snail of Ha Long, although looking "small" but the meat inside is big, sweet and very fresh
It is too "wrong" to come to Ha Long without trying all the "not tried as yet to Ha Long" dishes. There is a saying "the shortest way to the heart is through the stomach", and I fell in love with Ha Long for that reason.
